As part of its mission, the College of Arts & Letters encourages all students to "become
independent minded, socially responsible and globally aware citizens." The College
of Arts & Letters supports this mission by providing unique faculty-led short-term
programs, as well as connecting students to the many study abroad resources available,
in order to help all students have an international experience. Explore the numerous

Virtual Study AbroadVirtual programs bring the world to you. Spend the fall or spring term virtually exploring the world via exciting global academic experiences or virtual international internships.
Exchange ProgramsStudy abroad for an entire semester, or year through one (or more) of the roughly 350 exchange programs available at SDSU.
Faculty-led ProgramsSpecific courses led by CAL faculty, which typically run 2 - 6 weeks in length. Winter, Spring Break, and Summer Session options available.
International InternshipsGain practical work experience in a global setting through an international internship.

TransborderTransborder courses take place both on campus, as well as through multiple field trips to different locales in Tijuana, Mexico.
